I have often found myself trying to define what home is. Since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, I have been photographing life with my partner and living in the area where he grew up. I almost never leave the trailer, the familiar, except to photograph. This trailer has become my home while the trailer park feels desolate, barren, isolated. This is not how I envisioned the idea of home. Home is bright, vibrant, social and comforting, just like our lives were prior to the pandemic. Through working on this project, I have found that the dichotomy of the outside world and inside my residence is what builds home.
